Looking for a skilled, experienced therapist who has mastered blending these two powerful memory reconsolidation therapies, EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy? Currently, you can only find such clinicians through word of mouth.
EMDR Insight is one of the first places to both teach, supervise and now assess such brilliant therapists, and we’ve been doing so since 2022.
Now we’re expanding our programme to inform prospective clients about the very best of our students. This is a draft of the certification process, currently in development, so still subject to change.
To join our certification programme:
- Complete all elements (lectures & practice groups) of the 16-week or 4-module training.
- Complete 10 consolidation groups of two hours each or 20 hours of individual supervision with someone from the EMDR Insight Team. Read the outline lower down.
- Provide a video of you/clinician using the H2 protocol with a client/colleague for assessment. Assessed against a fidelity checklist attached below.
Those who are certified will receive:
- Certificate.
- Added to list of qualified IFS informed EMDR practitioners.
- Benefiting from advertising and referrals.
- Join an active community of practitioners constantly learning & growing together.
After certification the benefits of remaining in our community include: ongoing peer support through alumni groups; support for you on your EMDR journey; early access to updates on EMDR Insight activities and opportunities to contribute to group activities and facilitation..
