Dr Annabel McGoldrick
International trainer, writer, EMDR consultant, Level 1 IFS Practitioner and clinical psychotherapist.
Read a published review of my training: “Due to the way the course was designed and the material presented, I felt confident to begin utilising the new skills the very next day when I went back into my clinic.“
Annabel’s real passion is finding and enabling ways to help people resolve their conflicts both inside and out.
Annabel has been a psychotherapist for over 20 years, training initially at CCPE in London, where she completed her Diploma and Masters in transpersonal psychotherapy. She then went on to become a family therapist at Australia’s leading addiction treatment centre, South Pacific Private on Sydney’s north shore.
She also holds a PhD from the University of Sydney, where she taught Peace of Mind and Conflict Resolving Media for a number of years as part of the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies.
Annabel is a former broadcast journalist (BBC & SBS) who co-authored Peace Journalism with Jake Lynch.
Annabel served on the EMDR Association Board in Australia from 2019-21, where she edited the newsletter.
With a background in Buddhism and 12-Step programmes, Annabel believes that the Internal Family System model is a perfect umbrella for her life’s work in helping people to heal themselves and the planet.
